Inglewood:

Inglewood has a population of more than 6,300 members. You will find the neighbourhood inside 118th avenue to the north, on the south by 111 Avenue, on the west by Groat Road, and on the east by the former Canadian National Railway right of way.
In 1955, the Westmount Shopping Centre was built in the adjacent neighborhood of Woodcroft. Inglewood’s proximity and access to shopping and employment centers stimulated apartment development on major traffic routes and commercial corridors. And by the 2000s, low density residential units in Inglewood make up a small proportion of units, while the majority of units are found in medium and higher density residential structures. According to a 2005 City of Edmonton census the most common type of residence in the neighborhood is the rented apartment; about 70% most of those being low-rise apartments. Single-family dwellings account for one in four (approx 25%). The remaining 5-6% are duplexes, but a more current number may show higher in this type of single family dwelling.
